Ísland

In April of 2019, my wife and I took a week-long vacation in Iceland to drive the famous Ring Road around the Nordic island and take in the breathtaking scenery of the glacial, volcanic country. Our trip started and ended in Reykjavik and took us on a complete circuit of the country, passing waterfalls, glaciers, lava fields, black sand beaches, and countless small towns. The extended spring days near the arctic circle meant plenty of daylight to take in enough of what we set out for while also covering plenty of ground each day.
